Cancer survivors are true fighters, but every real fighter has a squad. Beating cancer is an every day battle, with fighting that doesn’t stop when your treatment is over. But with right team we know we will win not only the battle, but the war.

Survivor Squad is made up of people who have been there, know the challenges young survivors face and want to do everything we can to fully beat cancer by going from not only surviving, but to THRIVING!!

Young adult cancer survivors face a different set of challenges than their peers. Often times treatment affects their academic life and scholastic achievements. At the same time most teenagers are playing sports, volunteering and studying for the SATs, those battling cancer are undergoing radiation and chemo treatments. It is one of our main goals to assist cancer survivors with college entry in various ways from tutoring while they’re in treatment to improve their odds of college acceptance to grants and scholarships when they successfully matriculate.
